Hello, thanks for visiting. My name is Monique and I’m a Registered Nurse experienced in the ER (including Level 1 Trauma Care) and in Non-Surgical Laser Aesthetics including topical skin care.

In the two years working in aesthetics, I worked with the Sandstone Nd Yag Q-Switched Dual Wave Length 532nm and 1064nm laser, Lumenis Light Sheer 810 Diode laser, Lumenis One Nd Yag 1064 nm laser and Lumenis One intense pulse light equipment with multiple wavelength variability.

My experience includes, but is not limited to consultations and treatment for LASER hair, tattoo, hemangioma, telangiectasia and vein removal; IPL for hyperpigmentation issues including Melasma, sun damage, hyper-pigmented stretch marks, freckles (with continued use of sunscreen and/or Hydroquinone may be highly effective); Levulan with IPL treatments for acne, as well as IPL for photo-rejuvination.

Included in my nursing duties were Managing the Weight Loss Program and knowledge and patient teaching of the Obagi skin care systems, consultations and follow ups for Botox, Dermal fillers (Restylane, Juviderm, Radiesse), Obagi TCA peels, CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing and Active FX.

On a Per Diem basis, I would also work in our in house cosmetic surgery center. This experience allowed me to see patients through the entire process of pre-admit to the OR to recovery to home for many cosmetic surgical procedures. Some surgical procedures in which I hold experience are breast augmentation, abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck), rhinoplasty (nose job), chin implant, full face lift, partial face lift, lipo-suction and gluteal implant.

I have a passion for health, wellness, beauty, nutrition, skin care, anti-aging, etc. My goal is to help people achieve their optimal health. This blog is intended to provide information about the previous noted topics. I plan to post articles that I believe to be informative and useful.

Genewize Life Sciences has also become a large part of my life. I will promote it throughout my blog in various articles, testimonials, video and links in an effort to spread the word about the company and the products they offer.
